Kiley Martens-You will be missed!

Kiley was a very good friend to me in High School. We played Basketball and Softball together and she was such a good/soft hearted person. She will be greatly missed.

Obituary:
Kiley Elisabeth Martens, 24 of Springdale died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Springdale. She was born August 19, 1983 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Jerry and Debra Pitts Martens. Kiley loved the beach, mission trips, basketball and working with the children’s group at Christian Life Cathedral. She loved doing anything to serve God. She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Devin Martens of Tallahassee, Florida and Kirby Martens of Springdale; two sisters, Becke Stuart and husband, Eric of Conway, Arkansas and Amelia Martens of Springdale; Maternal grandparents Dewey and Sylvia Pitts of Fayetteville. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville with Pastors Steve Dixon, Red Dixon and Tony Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Pallbearers are Nathan Strigler, Craig Dewey, Trey Bailey, Chuck King, Jeff Martens and Eric Stuart. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2008 at Westfield Chapel from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with family present from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

I am so very sorry ... I read her obit in the newspaper. Sounds like she was a wonderful, much loved young woman. What happened?
